Questions and modeling should require the use of textual evidence, including supporting valid explicit and implicit (inferences) from the text.

Complex Texts
Select texts with the student's Lexile Range - 50L above to 100L below the student's Lexile score to target instruction at a level of rigor and challenge.
Analyze BAT Mini data by benchmark to target specific benchmarks for instructional focus.

Compare BAT 1 and BAT 2 data by reporting category for strategic approach to literacy skills in vocabulary, reading applications, literacy analysis, or analyzing and synthesizing informational text.

Analyze results of content specific, classroom instruction and assessments.
